One honest limitation worth flagging: a city search returns the first matching location Open-Meteo's geocoding service finds for that name, and plenty of city names aren't unique — there's more than one Paris, more than one Springfield, more than one Cambridge. If a search returns a place in the wrong country or state, adding a more specific or less common nearby city name to the search is usually the quickest workaround, since there's currently no separate field for narrowing a search down by country or region.

How Fresh Is "Current"
Every search triggers a fresh request to Open-Meteo at the moment you submit it — there's no cached or pre-loaded result sitting behind the scenes waiting to be served back to you, so the numbers you see reflect whatever Open-Meteo's weather model had most recently available at the time of your search. Weather models themselves update on a regular cycle — commonly refreshed multiple times a day — rather than continuously streaming live sensor readings the way a home weather station might, so "current conditions" here means "the latest model update," which for practical purposes is close enough to real time for almost every everyday use, from deciding on a jacket to checking whether an afternoon walk is worth planning around.
